4. Notification Reliability

While Pill Timer strives to deliver reminders reliably, we cannot guarantee that notifications will always be delivered on time or at all. Notification delivery depends on factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

Device operating system behavior (battery optimization, Doze mode, background restrictions)
Network connectivity and push notification service availability (Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple Push Notification Service)
Device status (powered off, in airplane mode, storage full)
User-configured permission settings (notifications disabled, Do Not Disturb enabled)
OEM-specific battery savers or third-party task killers

Do not rely on Pill Timer as your sole method of remembering critical medications. For life-critical medications, consult your doctor and use multiple independent reminder systems.

5. AI-Assisted Features

Pill Timer may include optional features powered by generative AI (e.g., Google Gemini) to help organize medication schedules or interpret medication information.

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Never act on AI suggestions without verifying them with your pharmacist or physician. AI features are experimental and are provided “as is” without warranty.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CoreCodery, its developers, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any:

Missed doses or medication taken at incorrect times
Health outcomes, injuries, or damages (direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive)
Notification delays, failures, or technical malfunctions
Inaccurate medication information entered by users
Reliance on AI-generated suggestions
Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the service

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which liability is asserted (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise), even if CoreCodery has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Pill Timer is not designed for emergency use. If you experience a medical emergency, severe side effects, an overdose, or any urgent health concern, immediately contact emergency services or your healthcare provider.
