Privacy Policy

1. Your Health Data Stays On Your Device

IF Helper is built on an offline-first principle for your health information. All fasting records, fasting protocols, streaks, and personal preferences you create within the app are stored exclusively on your own device. This health data is never transmitted to any server we operate, and we have no technical means to view, copy, or recover it.

However, the app does transmit a limited set of diagnostic telemetry to Google's Firebase platform to keep the app stable and improve it over time. This is described in detail in the next sections.

2. Diagnostic Telemetry via Firebase

IF Helper uses Google Firebase (Google LLC) as its sole third-party telemetry provider. Specifically:

• Firebase Analytics — screen views and app interaction events (e.g., which fasting protocol was selected, session duration). Does not include the content of your fasting records or any health values you entered. • Firebase Crashlytics — crash logs, stack traces, device model, OS version, and related diagnostic context when the app crashes. • Firebase Performance — app startup times, screen render durations, and network request metrics. • Firebase Cloud Messaging — a device-scoped push notification token (FCM token) is generated and held by Google's servers, used if and when the app sends notifications. • Firebase Remote Config — fetches app-level configuration (such as feature flags) at launch, using your install context to receive the correct variant. • Firebase Installation ID (App Instance ID) — a pseudonymous identifier that ties all of the above telemetry to a specific installation of the app on a specific device.

All telemetry is transmitted to Google servers over TLS-encrypted HTTPS. Retention follows Firebase's default settings: Analytics events are retained for up to 14 months, Crashlytics data for up to 90 days, and Installation ID / FCM token for as long as the app is installed on your device.

Firebase's data handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Review their practices at firebase.google.com/support/privacy and policies.google.com/privacy.

3. Data Is Linked to Your Device Identity

The diagnostic telemetry described above is not anonymous in the strict sense. Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance events are associated with your Firebase Installation ID, and push notification delivery relies on your FCM token. These identifiers are pseudonymous — we do not know your name, email address, or any direct personal identifier — but they do tie telemetry events back to a specific installation of the app on a specific device.

You can reset your Firebase Installation ID by uninstalling and reinstalling IF Helper, which causes a fresh identifier to be generated. See our Data Deletion page for additional options.

4. Not a Medical Service

IF Helper is only a time-tracking and history tool. It does not provide medical advice, does not monitor your health, and cannot detect complications. The data displayed within the app is information you have personally entered — it is not a medical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation.

Fasting is not suitable for everyone. Do not fast without medical supervision if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18 years of age, have diabetes, or have a history of eating disorders. Fasting carries health risks — consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, and stop immediately if you feel unwell.

You use IF Helper entirely at your own risk. Any health-related decisions you make in connection with your use of this app are your own responsibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoreCodery is not liable for any outcome, injury, or decision made based on this app.

5. No Advertising, No Data Sale, No Data Brokers

IF Helper does not display advertisements of any kind, and no advertising-related identifiers are collected or shared from this app.

We do not sell your data to any third party, we do not share or transfer your data to any data broker, and we do not use cookies or cross-app tracking technologies to build a behavioural profile of you. The diagnostic telemetry listed above is used exclusively by us and Google (as our processor) to operate and improve IF Helper.

6. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service provider that receives any data from IF Helper is Google LLC, through the Firebase platform (Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance, Cloud Messaging, and Remote Config). We do not operate a custom backend, we do not use Supabase or any other user-account system in this release, and we do not integrate with any analytics SDK other than Firebase.

Firebase operates under its own independent privacy policy. We have no control over Google's data practices and encourage you to review them directly.

7. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers shall not be liable for any health outcomes, data loss, or other damages arising from your use of this application. By using IF Helper, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developers from any claims, liabilities, or expenses — including legal fees — arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.

8. Your Rights, Retention & Deletion

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your data:

European Union (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. Because your fasting records live only on your device, you exercise these rights directly by managing or deleting data within the app. For Firebase telemetry, you may reset your Installation ID by reinstalling the app, or request deletion through our Data Deletion page.

California (CCPA): You have the right to know what categories of data are collected, request deletion, and opt out of data sales. IF Helper does not sell your data and does not share data with data brokers. The categories of data collected are described in section 2.

9. Governing Law, Changes & Contact

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this policy or your use of IF Helper is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Thailand, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app's functionality or applicable regulations. Where significant changes are made, we will provide notice within the application. Your continued use of IF Helper following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
